We want to help all those who choose to be leaders to be prepared for the changes that are happening now, and into the future.
Our world is changing forever and so is the way we work. We are seeing unprecedented levels of technological change, access to information, changing workforce demographics and revolution on a global scale. More and more focus is being placed on people. How do we cope with this and what does this mean for us? We need leadership. An evolved kind of leadership. Adaptable leadership.
We believe that if we can build this adaptive leader, we can make a real difference in people’s lives. We can ‘free them up to do business and live life’.
We will do this not by doing something new, but by doing things differently. The challenge we’ve set ourselves is to unlock the potential in the existing CI program of work through an evolved kind of leadership. A set of strategies and practices that can help people break through gridlocks, accomplish deep change and develop the adaptability to thrive in complex, competitive, and challenging environments. Leadership like this can be learned. And anyone, anywhere within the organisation, can learn it. After all, leadership is a behaviour, not a title – right….
Why?
We see Ninja as a journey. A journey of enlightenment and different perspectives. A journey of doing things differently. A journey where we learn and adapt as we go along.
The Tekio Ninja team is an eclectic, cross-functional team who are passionate about preparing CI for the road ahead. We reflect the diversity of Suncorp with varying knowledge, skills and experiences across many nationalities; professional disciplines; ages; locations and differing views of the world. Individually we are unique, but collectively we all see the challenge; we hear it, we feel it and we want to make a real difference to it……….
Leadership needs to adapt, to come out from the shadows. We see this as a gap that we want to fill and we want to be part of that journey.
